What ages is CreativeStarz for?
Our classes are for children ages four and up. For children aged four to six years we run a shorter one and a half hour program, for children aged seven and up we run the main three hour CreativeStarz program.When do classes run?
We run all classes on Saturday mornings. For Little Starz (ages 4-6) we start class at 9.00am, for the main CreativeStarz program (ages 6-14+) we run the full 3 hour program from 10.00am.We follow the academic calendar and run classes for 9 weeks, during the four school terms.
Can I try CreativeStarz without committing to a full term?
Yes! You can simply sign up for a free one week trial before you commit to a full term. At the end of the trial you can choose whether you would like to continue with the remaining weeks of the term or withdraw.How much does CreativeStarz cost?
We offer a free one week trial, thereafter the remainder of the full term for the LittleStarz program (ages 4-6) is $240, the main CreativeStarz program (ages 6-14+) is $480 per term.How long is a term at Creative Starz?
There are four terms a year and each term is 9 weeks long.What is the class size?
The class size is a maximum of 15 students.What does my child need to wear to CreativeStarz?
We recommend comfortable clothing that allows for movements, such as leggings or joggers with a fitted top or t-shirt. Avoid clothing with too many buttons, zippers, or accessories that could be a distraction or get in the way during activities. Shoes with good traction, such as sneakers or comfortable flats. In some cases, jazz shoes are recommended.What to bring to class?
Apart from suitable clothing, there are no requirements for what to bring to class. We do recommend bringing a bottle of water and a few light snacks.What to do if we are unable to attend the classes?
Please contact the principal and give us notice. We encourage students to attend every week because consistent attendance helps children to fully engage in the learning process and gain the most benefit from the class.Can I watch my kids in class?
We do not recommend parents to watch their kids in drama class. Having parents present in the classroom can sometimes make children feel self-conscious or nervous, inhibiting their ability to fully engage in the activities.For any term-end performances, parents are of course invited to join us.
